#OromoProtests FDG Updates: Two Oromo Students of Rift Valley University Killed in Adama; Also the Nekemte Hospital’s Ward Filled with Oromo Students Brutally Injured by the Ethiopian TPLF Authorities During the Nonviolent #OromoProtests FDG

According to sources, two Oromo students of the Rift Valley University – identified as Bilisuma Lami and Milisha Belete, were killed by what is believed to be a premeditated and government-sponsored car accident in Adama on May 16, 2014. The two had been arrested and put in prison for peacefully protesting against the Addis Ababa Master Plan for the last two weeks, and it was only a few days ago that they were released from prison when the accident took their lives.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that one Nekemte Hospital’s ward is still highly crowded with severely injured Oromo students (see photos below). The students were brutally injured, most recently on May 14, 2014, by the Ethiopian TPLF authorities during the nonviolent #OromoProtests FDG against the Addis Ababa Master Plan, which aims to evict millions of Oromo farmers from their lands in Central Oromiyaa, especially around the Oromiyaan districts surrounding Addis Ababa (which is known as Finfinnee by the indigenous Oromo people).
In related news, mass arrests of peacefully protesting Oromo students have continued across Oromiyaa, and the TPLF Ethiopian regime has also intensified its expulsion of Oromo students from colleges and universities for peacefully protesting against the Addis Ababa Master Plan.
In the latest expulsion campaigns, five students from Wallaggaa University, another five students from Addis Ababa University have been expelled permanently. Among those expelled from Addis Ababa University is student Boona Gammachu, author of the Afan Oromo book, “Gola Icciitii.” An additional group of five students have been suspended from Addis Ababa University for two years.
The brutality of the coward TPLF Ethiopian regime can be seen from these photos.
