Prof. Abbas Gnamo’s new book, Conquest and the Resistance and Ethiopian Empire, 1880-1974 (The Case of Arsi Oromo), was successfully launched on March 9, 2014, in Toronto at the York University. According to sources, the March 9 book launch event in Toronto was well attended and became a moment to celebrate Oromo history and cultural heritage.
